Hello everyone! I'm fairly new to the Enneagram universe, and I'm trying to understand some more about my type which is apparently a 7w8 (enthusiast/challenger). I find myself resonating with much of what I've read about this type, mainly being extroverted, fun-loving, but also assertive and protective when necessary. But I'm also fully aware that there's more depth to type and wing than the basic descriptions depict. I would love to hear from those who identify as a 7w8 or understand this type well. What are some nuances, struggles, or perhaps misconceptions associated with being a 7w8? How has this understanding affected your personal relationships and career choices? If you identify as a 7w8 or have significant knowledge about this type, could you please help clarify these traits and possibly provide some practical examples? Hey fellow Enneagram enthusiasts! I've recently identified as a Type 7 with Wing 8 (7w8) 🌟. I'm keen to have a deeper understanding about our Type. Especially how the 8 wing influences our behaviour, decision making processes, etc. I've heard that the 8 wing can make us more assertive and prone to challenge authority. Is that correct? Hi all, 🙋‍♂️ Hope you're all doing well! I have been studying the Enneagram for some time now and have discovered that I primarily identify with the Type 7, with an 8 wing (7w8). I tend to seek exciting and stimulating experiences and value independence. 💡 Traditional norms often feel limiting, and routine bores me. However, I have observed the assertive, hard-charging tendency of the 8 wing in myself, which helps me in pursuing my goals and not letting anyone or anything stand in my way. 💫 I would love to know more about how this combination can impact interactions with others, personal growth, and overall life decisions. Can other Type 7w8's share some insights and experiences? Or do you guys know if there are books or resources specifically for understanding this combination in depth?
