Hello everyone! Recently, I've discovered my Enneagram type and wing - I'm a 2w3. I understand that 2's are 'the helpers', and I resonate strongly with this. However, I'm a little unclear about the influence of my 3 wing. 🤔 If I get it correctly, type 3's are success-oriented so I guess adding the 3 wing should lead to ambitious and career-focused tendencies. Yet, I am not sure how these characteristics blend together with the 2's inclination towards helping others. If there are any 2w3's out there who could explain their experiences, that would be wonderful. How do you balance the seemingly contradictory motivations of wanting to help others (2) while aiming for personal success (3)? Is there a pattern you've noticed? Hello everyone!☺️ I've been doing some introspective work lately and believe that my Enneagram classification is a Type 2 with a 3 wing, or 2w3. I know that Type 2 is the 'Helper' and often embodies traits of being caring, interpersonal, and generous. From what I understand, people with 3 wing add a desire to be admired, success-oriented, and are more extroverted. 🌟 I relate to these traits, but I'm still eager to understand more about the 2w3 combination. Hi all! I've recently discovered that I'm a Type 2 (The Helper) with a 3 wing on the Enneagram. Briefly, it means I have a strong desire to help others and gain validation. Yet with the 3 wing, I find I'm also quite ambitious and achievement-oriented. I'm struggling with feeling as though these two sides are at odds with each other. Does infusing my ambition with the helping hand of type 2 make it feel less genuine? 🤔 And, how does the balance work? Are there any other 2w3s out there who can shed light on this?
