I relate to feeling misunderstood as a Type 4. Photography has been a wonderful way for me to capture my emotions and share them with others. It might be worth a try for you too.

Type 4s often find creative expression in art. Aside from poetry, exploring other forms like painting or music might provide new ways to articulate feelings and experiences. Art classes or workshops can also be a space to connect with others who share similar sensitivities.

Hello! Firstly, I completely understand your sentiment as a fellow type 4. We're individualistic and tend to be intense and passionate, often leading us to feel misunderstood by others. Poetry is a beautiful way of self-expression where our emotions can be transformed into words. Like you, I also gravitate towards creative outlets to express myself. I find solace in painting. The blend of colors on a canvas often helps me bring emotions and thoughts into reality. It certainly provides a therapeutic effect. I also enjoy journaling. Writing my thoughts down allows me to process them, which is really helpful. Keep expressing yourself in diverse ways, and always remember that our uniqueness is our strength.
