Hey everyone! 🙋♀️ I've recently discovered I'm a Type 2 with a 1 wing (2w1) and am fascinated by how the Helper and the Reformer characteristics blend. I'm curious about others' experiences with this specific type and wing combination. For those who identify as 2w1, how do you navigate the balance between your innate desire to help others (Type 2) and your inner critic that pushes for perfectionism (Type 1 wing)? 🤔 Also, what self-care practices have you found effective in ensuring you’re not burning out from constantly helping others while maintaining your high standards? Any strategies or insights would be greatly appreciated! 😊✨ Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences! Thanks!
Hello! 🙋♂️ It's awesome to connect with fellow 2w1s! 🌟 As a 2w1, I totally get the unique blend of being nurturing while also having high standards. Balancing the Helper’s desire to support others with the Reformer’s drive for perfection can be tricky. 🤹♂️ I’ve found that setting clear boundaries is crucial. It’s okay to say no sometimes and prioritize your own needs. Learning to recognize when your inner critic is being too harsh can also help in not overextending yourself. For self-care, I love taking time for activities that recharge me, like reading a good book 📚, spending time in nature 🌿, or practicing mindfulness meditation 🧘♀️. It’s vital to have moments where you can just breathe and be present. Journaling can also be a great way to process your thoughts and manage that inner critic. One strategy is to actively practice self-compassion. Remind yourself that it’s okay not to be perfect and that taking care of yourself is as important as helping others. 💛 Would love to hear what others find helpful too! Take care and keep shining! ✨ Thanks for sparking this discussion! 😊
