Hi everyone! 🌟 I’ve been diving deep into the world of Enneagram types and am curious about how different types experience growth and stress. It’s fascinating how each type has unique ways of moving towards integration or disintegration. For example, Type 1s can become more relaxed and spontaneous when moving towards Type 7, but can become more critical and rigid when moving towards Type 4 during stress. How do you personally notice these shifts in yourself or others? Are there specific behaviors or feelings that signal you are moving towards your growth or stress point? Also, how do you consciously work with these shifts to foster personal development? Looking forward to hearing your insights and experiences! Thanks! 😊
Greetings! 🌈 So cool that you're exploring the Enneagram! 🌟 I've noticed quite a few interesting shifts in myself and others over time. For instance, as a Type 2, when I'm growing towards Type 4, I find myself more introspective and creative, appreciating my own needs and individuality. 🌸💡 However, under stress, sliding towards Type 8, I can become more confrontational and prone to defensiveness. 😬🔄 Some signals I’ve noticed for growth include feeling more open and curious, enjoying new experiences, and engaging in self-reflection. 🌱✨ For stress, it’s often that creeping feeling of tension and frustration, coupled with more reactive or protective behaviors. 😤🛡️ To consciously work with these shifts, I practice mindfulness and check-ins with myself to identify when I’m leaning towards stress points. Journaling and meditation help, as well as seeking feedback from friends. 📓🧘♀️✨ On the flip side, I actively engage in activities that foster creativity and joy to encourage growth. 🎨💚 Can’t wait to hear how others manage their shifts! Thanks for starting this convo! 😊❤️
