Hey Everyone! 🌟 I’ve been diving deep into understanding my Enneagram type and it looks like I’m a 7w6. I relate a lot to the adventurous, spontaneous side of the 7, but I notice that I also have a strong need for security and planning, which points to the 6 wing. How do you all balance these seemingly contrasting traits? Also, for those of you who identify as 7w6, how do you find it influences your relationships and career choices? The blend of the adventurous spirit of a 7 and the cautious, loyal nature of a 6 can be a wild ride! 🎢 For balancing these traits, I try to embrace the best of both worlds. I plan spontaneous adventures 😂. For example, I'll set aside a weekend for a trip but won't decide where I'm going until the last minute. This way, I satisfy my 7's need for excitement while giving my 6 some comfort in having a framework. In relationships, I feel my 6 wing definitely adds a layer of loyalty and commitment, which helps balance the sometimes flighty nature of the 7. It also helps in careers where I can be both innovative and reliable. For instance, project management or creative fields where you need to think on your feet but also have a structured plan. The 6 wing does temper some of the impulsiveness of the 7 for me, mainly by making me think twice before making risky decisions.
