However, skepticism arises due to its lack of empirical support. Enneagram derives from esoteric teachings, not vital health science, making its categorization of nine distinct personality types suspiciously simplistic. Each human being is complex, with diverse experiences and psychology, and pigeonholing them into nine categories seems overreductive. Moreover, self-assessment tools are naturally subject to biases and inaccuracy. The Enneagram may at best offer a vague approximation of a person's persona but doesn't hold the keys to unlocking holistic health and personal well-being.
